    Employee Development for Growth and Excellence (EDGE) Pre-Award Assessment

This form is to determine if businesses meet the requirements to apply for the EDGE grant and submit a training plan application(s). The determination of this process does not guarantee grant funding for training. If eligible, you will receive a link to complete a training plan application(s) for consideration by the Review Committee.

     

    Workforce Colorado Jefferson, Clear Creek, Gilpin is an equal opportunity program. Employee Development for Growth & Excellence grant program (EDGE/Incumbent Worker Training) is funded 100% by the Federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Adult and Dislocated Worker programs. Workforce Colorado JCG is funded through a combination of federal funds from the U.S. Department of Labor and non-federal funds that includes state and local sources. The approximate budget of $4.1 million is made up of 80% federal and 20% of non-federal sources.

  • Important Information

    Employee information for program registration must be submitted prior to the training start date. Due date will be determined once an application is approved. Invoicing documents must be submitted within 30 days after the training has been completed. Employee information includes participating employees’ name(s), hire date(s), wage and last 4-digits of social security number, training updates, training provider's invoice and proof of payment, certificates of training completion or attendance records for each employee, and invoice for reimbursable portion of training cost.
